Summary

Digitalisation is a challenge for older people. The County Wicklow CIC undertook the task of conducting research to investigate the accessibility of online services including social, financial and public services to older people in Wicklow. This research was then converted into a booklet made available to older adults throughout the community.

The project was lead by Citizens Information who collaborated with the County Wicklow Older Persons Council for research and consultation. Funding was provided by the Citizens Information Board social policy grant scheme to employ a researcher and printing costs were covered by County Wicklow Age-friendly programme.
