A healthy spine is one of the sports activities that take place at the Senior Center in Opole. The classes are dedicated to seniors who want to take care of their spine. The proposed sets of exercises help with spine pains and ailments in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar sections. The coach shows and supervises the correct performance of individual exercises, thanks to which seniors can then perform them independently at home. Exercises allow not only to maintain the correct body posture or reduce back pain, but also facilitate the proper functioning in everyday life when performing activities such as climbing and descending stairs, getting up from a chair. Seniors are very eager to participate in these activities.
