The Municipality of Ravne na Koroškem, which has been known for over 100 years for its iron and steel industry, extends throughout the wonderful landscape of the lower side of the Meža valley near the Austrian border. The town centre Ravne na Koroškem is densely populated, surrounded by hills, mostly covered with woods. In this geographically vivid area there are numerous natural and cultural sights telling stories about the life around the Meža river and Uršlja gora.
