Summary

Rua Direita is an ambitious municipal program for the deep rehabilitation of the city’s fine network of public spaces, which have not received any intervention for decades.

The program aims to restore circulation and enjoyment conditions to public spaces in areas that have long been forgotten.

Geographically comprehensive, the Rua Direita program is located throughout the city’s territory, including, in addition to public spaces, old rural roads, urban areas undergoing transformation and degraded streets in consolidated fabric.

It is an investment of 21 million euros for a “filigree” work, aiming at the reconversion of almost a hundred streets, corresponding to about 15 kilometers of intervention.
