Summary
The short easy to read leaflet summarises the tangible achievements for Salford since we embarked on our Age-Friendly journey.
Salford started using the Word Health Organisation model back in 2014 as a way to bring together some ideas and projects which were important to older people’s health and wellbeing. These activities and events have been recognized as valuable local assets within Salford’s Integrated Care programme for older people, and it was important that their collective value continued to be recognized.
Salford’s older residents used the WHO framework to develop four local visions against which the work in Salford over the past four years has been developed.
