As a part of Sharjah Roads & Transport Authority, commitment to achieve the Age-Friendly city standards and requirements. They develop an operational plan to check and modify 50 roads. sidewalks must be barrier free  in 2017 and must be free from the obstruction with smoother slopping wheelchair accessible surface (in the senior housing area). They achieved 100% of the target and continue to work for more 50 roads and sideways for 2018.
