On June 23, Opole seniors had a great time at the “Cultural Privet 2” in an unusual place, as it was held on the new spacious roof terrace of the Opole Main Transfer Center. This was the second edition of the “Night of Culture”.

A year ago a dance in the style of the seventies was organized, which was so much appreciated by the participants that this time it was decided to continue the tradition of partying in the style of the eighties. The previous private party was held at the train station next to the historic locomotive. It was very well attended, with around 400 people enjoying themselves to the rhythm of the hits of their youth.

There were numerous hits from those years, musical contest and dance performances by the seniors. The organizers of the event – the “Amber Hearts” Association based at the “Golden Autumn” Day-Care House for Seniors in Opole – took care of the music, fun, great atmosphere and refreshments. The vocal and musical group “Golden Leaf” with the singer Magdalena Mikita made a great performance.

It was beautiful, colorful and joyful.  The entire event was meant for seniors, but families, children and grandchildren were also invited. The result was a successful intergenerational party.
