Fourteen buildings were awarded the title of “age-friendly institution” after they met all the required conditions and criteria, while the number of candidates reached 29 entities that applied to participate.
And the award-winning institutions that were honored during the “Elderly Forum” in its 11th session are: Abdullah bin Masoud Mosque, Al-Aber Mosque, Al-Huda Mosque, affiliated with the Department of Islamic Affairs, University Dental Hospital in Sharjah, affiliated with the University of Sharjah, and 3 buildings affiliated with NMC Hospital Royal, Building A, B, C, Khorfakkan Health Center, Maliha Archeology Center of the Investment and Development Authority Shurooq, Department of Correctional and Punitive Institutions of the Sharjah Police General Command, Advisory Council, Economic Development Department, Sharjah Health Authority, Sharjah Education Council.
