This decree defines the terms and conditions for implementing the mandatory health insurance.

The Resolution approved the Treaty Establishing the African Medicines Agency, adopted in February 2019 by the 32nd Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, held in Addis Ababa – Ethiopia. 

The law provides the budget of the state for the year 2023.

This regulation is issued to implement the Food and Medicine Administration Proclamation No.1112/2019. It provides the organization, powers and duties of the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority.

The decree creates the National Institute for Medical Assistance ("Institut National d'Assistance Médicale"), which is placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Health and the financial supervision of the Ministry of Finance. The Institute's main mission is to implement policies, strategies and reforms relating to the financing and delegated management of free health care for Niger's vulnerable populations by the State and local authorities.

The Order adopts the statutes of the National Institute for Medical Assistance ("Institut National d'Assistance Médicale"), which has as its main mission the implementation of policies, strategies and reforms relating to the financing and delegated management of free healthcare by the State and local authorities for the benefit of vulnerable populations in Niger.

This Law determines the use of the human body, organs, tissues, cells and products of the human body for therapeutic, educational or scientific purposes.

This decree confers the management of Universal Health Insurance to the National Health Insurance Institute and the National Social Security Fund.

The law defines the legal framework for the prevention and comprehensive care of the human immunodeficiency virus and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS). The law includes the rights and obligations of people living with HIV as well as the prevention and prohibition of discriminatory practices. The law includes as well the treatments in the health system in Cabo Verde among other issues.

This law defines the general regime for the prevention and control of smoking, establishing rules regarding the protection from exposure; the advertising; the prohibition of the promotion and sponsorship of recreational and cultural activities, and the labelling among other issues. 

The purpose of this Law is to establish mechanisms for the protection and promotion of health, the prevention and control of diseases, as well as threats and risks to public health.

National Budget Highlights

This document provides highlights of the national budget for health for the years 2023-2025.

The decree sets out the powers, organization, and operation of the Institut National d'Assurance Maladie. It was published in the Official Journal on 7 October 2022 (see pages 108 to 114).

The decree sets out the missions, composition, organization, and operation of the "comité de régulation de l'assurance maladie universelle" (universal health insurance regulatory committee). It was published in the Official Journal on 7 October 2022 (see pages 137 to 140).

This decree determines the conditions for the creation, approval, operation and control of reproductive health structures in application of the provisions of Article 12 paragraph 3 of Law No. 2003-04 of March 3, 2003 relating to the sexual and reproductive health.

The purpose of this law is to organize activities related to medicines and other health products in the Republic of Benin.

This Law provides amendments to the provisions of Articles 17, 17-1, 17-2, 17-3, 17-4, 17-5, 17-6, 17-7, 19-1 of the Law No 2003-04 of 03 March 2003 relating to sexual health and reproduction.

The law regulates the State budget and expenditure of the year 2022.

The decree provides for the organization and functioning of the Central Purchasing Center for Essential Medicines of Burundi [CAMEBU].
