The decree sets out the missions, composition, organization, and operation of the "comité de régulation de l'assurance maladie universelle" (universal health insurance regulatory committee). It was published in the Official Journal on 7 October 2022 (see pages 137 to 140).
The Constitution was reviewed and adopted in 2019. The Constitution contains 159 articles addressing a large number of issues such as the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms, the fundamental principles of the state and institutional arrangements (non-exhaustive list).
This law establishes a universal health insurance in the Togolese Republic.
