Investigative journalists from Papel Social, a non-governmental organization, visited the three southern states of Brazil to investigate the working conditions of tobacco growers. Brazil is the world’s second-largest producer of tobacco and the largest exporter. Strenuous days, illnesses, and child labor are part of the scenario found during the production of the documentary Vidas Tragadas.
