Unlocking the Tobacco Supply Chain

In addition to the well known health issues that tobacco brings to smokers and passive smokers, the tobacco supply chain has tremendous environmental impacts and harms the health of tobacco growers as well. These workers are often trapped in the tobacco industry, and need support to find alternative livelihoods.

“Unlocking the Tobacco Supply Chain” discusses these and other issues related to Articles 17 and 18 of the WHO FCTC.

The first season – “From Cradle to Grave” – shows how the whole tobacco supply chain impacts the environment and the health of workers.

The second season – “Tobacco Farming MythBusters” – debunks several myths associated with tobacco production.
