The Constitution of Chad was reviewed and approved by the referendum of the 17 December 2023. The Constitution contains 290 articles addressing a large number of issues as the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms, the fundamental principles of the state and institutional arrangements.

This law, published in the Official journal on 7 November 2019, is to put in place a system to ensure the protection of the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, in particular their privacy, with regard to the processing of personal data; and to ensure that information and communication technologies remain at the service of the citizen and do not infringe individual freedoms.

The diploma approves the rules of Procedure of the Ministry of Health.

It was published in the official journal on 19 July 2018 along with the decree governing the powers and organization of the General Health Inspectorate (decree 2018-269), the decree providing for the powers and organization of the General Directorate for care and health services (decree 2018-270), the decree providing for the powers and organization of the General Directorate for the Population (decree 2018-271) and the decree providing for the powers and organization of the General Directorate for Management and Resources (decree 2018-272).

The decree governs the powers and organization of the General Health Inspectorate.
