The Constitution of Chad was reviewed and approved by the referendum of the 17 December 2023. The Constitution contains 290 articles addressing a large number of issues as the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms, the fundamental principles of the state and institutional arrangements.

The Essential Medicines and Health Supplies List for Uganda (EMHSLU) 2023 reflects the policy of the Ministry of Health, for the appropriate procurement of safe and efficacious essential medicines, health and laboratory supplies in public institutions.

This law determines the general conditions of asylum in the Republic of Chad in accordance with the Convention relating to the Status of Refugees of July 28, 1951 as amended by its New York Protocol of January 31 and the Convention of the Organization of the African Unity of September 10, 1969 governing aspects specific to refugee problems in Africa.

This law establishes a national health insurance Fund ("Caisse Nationale d'Assurance Santé").

These guidelines prescribe data, which is required to be submitted to the National Drug Authority to demonstrate the safety, efficacy and quality of vaccines being applied for market authorization. In 2015, the Constitutional Court ruled in favor of the petitioners, emphasizing the need for the government to ensure access to essential maternal health services, such as skilled birth attendants and emergency obstetric care, to protect the right to life and dignity.

This Labor Code governs professional relations between Workers and employers resulting from employment contracts concluded to be executed in the territory of the Central African Republic. It determines the procedure for settling individual and collective conflicts resulting from the execution of the employment contract. It also governs the staff of State Companies, Mixed Economy Companies and Public Offices.

This document constitutes a planning tool for health districts to enable them to implement the objectives of equity and improvement in the quality of care planned by the public authorities of the country.
