Health Legislation

This Act protects the rights of consumers, addresses the interests and needs of consumers, establishes a Consumer Protection Council, provides an effective redress mechanism for consumer claims and provides for other matters incidental thereto or connected therewith.

This Act makes provisions for core labour rights, establishes basic employment standards, provides a framework for collective bargaining, provides for the prevention and settlement of disputes, and provides for related matters.

This Law provides provisions on the definition, principles and rights in reproductive health, defines reproductive health service entities and workforce, and regulates contraception, voluntary termination of pregnancy, rights of people suffering from STDs/AIDS and penal provisions.
