This Law amends Articles 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 31, 33, 36, 37, 38, 42, 45, 47, 51, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 65, 66, 80 and 86 of the Law No 2020-37 protecting the health of people in the Republic of Benin.

The Public Health Act

This Act repeals and replaces the Public Health Act of 1960, provides for the promotion, protection and improvement of public health and well-being in Sierra Leone, provides for the protection of individuals and communities from public health risks, provides for the prevention and control of the spread of infectious diseases, provides for local government and community participation in protecting public health, provides for early detection and prompt response to diseases and public health threats and provides for other related matters.

The purpose of this law is to organize the protection of the health of the population, and to define the obligations imposed on citizens in the event of communicable, non-communicable, contagious diseases or epidemics. It applies to any person living in the Republic of Benin or entering Benin territory.

The purpose of this law is to organize activities related to medicines and other health products in the Republic of Benin.

Insurance Act, 2021 Act 1061

The Insurance Act of 2021 establishes the National Insurance Commission, and provides for the regulation and supervision of the insurance market and related matters.

The Law makes the first amendment to the Law no. 41/VI/2004, of April 5, which establishes the foundations of the National Health Service.

This Proclamation is to provide for Food and Medicine Administration. It provides rules to regulate several areas including food, medicine, medical devices, cosmetics, and tobacco products.

This Act lays down the fundamental provisions and principles and aims to give concrete form to the rights and duties of the population in matters of health. Its purpose is to ensure the prevention, protection, maintenance, restoration and promotion of people's health. It was published in the Official Journal on 29 July 2018.

This Law establishes the fundamental principles relating to the organization of public health in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

This Law establishes the Rwanda Food and Drugs Authority and determines its mission, organization and functioning. The authority has a legal personality and enjoys administrative and financial autonomy. 

Decreto-Lei No 18/2017

This decree sets forth the principles and regulations for health units within the National Health Service. It outlines specific statutes for these units, differentiating between those operating as public business entities and those in the public administrative sector. The decree applies to all National Health Service entities in the healthcare network, including hospitals, hospital centers, local health units, and other establishments providing care to National Health Service users, under public-private partnership agreements.

The Health Act

This Act establishes a unified health system, coordinates the inter-relationship between the national government and county government health systems, provides for regulation of health care service and health care service providers, health products and health technologies and for connected purposes.

Public health Act

The Public Health Act repeals, re-enacts, consolidates and amends the law relating to public health in Botswana.

The Health Professions Regulatory Bodies Act of 2013 establishes the Allied Health Professions Council, the Medical and Dental Council, the Nursing and Midwifery Council, the Pharmacy Council, the Psychology Council and provides for related purposes.

The Kenya Medical Supplies Authority Act

This Act makes provisions for the establishment of the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority and for connected purposes.

Health Care Agency Act

This Act establishes a Health Care Agency and provides for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Public Health Authority Act

This Act establishes the Public Health Authority to regulate and monitor health-related services, and establishes the Public Health Authority Board and the Appeals Board, their functions, powers and procedures and provides for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Drug and Food Control Authority Act, No 37

This Act provides for the establishment of an independent Drug and Food Control Authority in South Sudan and provide an appropriate and effective independent regulatory mechanism to control and regulate the manufacture, supply, promotion, marketing, advertising, distribution and use of drugs, poisons, chemicals, cosmetics medical devices and food for human or animal use.

The Health Institutions and Facilities Act of 2011 provides for a Health Facilities Regulatory Agency to license facilities for the provision of public and private health care services, establishes the Mortuaries and Funeral Facilities Agency to control and regulate facilities connected with the storage and disposal of human remains, establishes an Ambulance Council to regulate the operation of ambulance services in the country in accordance with policy standards and to provide for related matters.

The Public Health Act

This Act provides for the promotion, preservation and maintenance of public health with a view to ensuring the provisions of comprehensive, functional and sustainable public health services to the general public; and provides for other related measures.
