The executive Decree No 22-401 of 26 Rabie Ethani 1444 establishes the composition, organization and operation of the National Health Observatory. It was published in the Official Journal of 24 November 2022 (pages 7 -10).

The law adopts the Code of Administrative Procedure. The Code establishes the principles and rules to be observed in the exercise of administrative activity, aimed at achieving the public interest, while respecting the subjective rights and legally protected interests of individuals and legal persons.

This law defines the general regime for the prevention and control of smoking, establishing rules regarding the protection from exposure; the advertising; the prohibition of the promotion and sponsorship of recreational and cultural activities, and the labelling among other issues. 

This Decree regulates the organization and operation of a public establishment called the National Institute of Public Health. This document is published as a part of the Official Journal and the Decree is located on page 31 of the file.

The decree regulates the establishment, organization and functioning of the National Public Health Institute of Burundi.

This law relates to the fight against tobacco; it applies to tobacco growing, regulation of the manufacture, packaging, labelling, marketing and importing of tobacco and tobacco products, as well as advertising.

The Civil Code is a document that brings together rules relating to civil law, governing topics such as the status of persons, property, as well as private relations between citizens.

The code aims to promote and guarantee children's access to the enjoyment and exercise of their rights.

The Ordinance creates a national public scientific and technological establishment called the "Institut national de Santé Publique" (National Institute of Public Health). The mission of the Institut National de Santé Publique is to set up a health monitoring and epidemiological surveillance system, and to promote research into health policies and systems.

The Decree rules on the organization and operating procedures of the National Institute of Public Health created by Ordinance n°2019-011/P-RM of March 27, 2019 creating the National Institute of Public Health.

This law provides for the Labour Code, establishing the rules governing the relations between employers and (salaried) employees in the country.

The Act gives effect to the World Health Organization 's framework Convention on tobacco control.

This Law establishes modalities for controlling tobacco consumption and tobacco products that are manufactured in Rwanda as well as those imported so as to protect the Rwandan population’s life.

The law reinforces the fight against the use and consumption of tobacco and tobacco products in Burkina Faso. This Labor Code governs professional relations between Workers and employers resulting from employment contracts concluded to be executed in the territory of the Central African Republic. It determines the procedure for settling individual and collective conflicts resulting from the execution of the employment contract. It also governs the staff of State Companies, Mixed Economy Companies and Public Offices.

This Act regulates the use, sale, manufacture, advertising and promotion of a tobacco product and provides for connected matters.

The law regulates civil status in Togo. It was published in the Official Journal on 30 June 2009 (pages 6 to 11).

This decree defines the scope of the prohibition on smoking in public places or places open to the public, and specifies the powers of health police officers in enforcing the law on tobacco control. It also sets out the rules governing the liability of manufacturers and distributors of tobacco products in the event of damage caused by the consumption of these products.

This Act controls the production, manufacture, sale, labelling, advertising, promotion and sponsorship of tobacco products, provides for the Tobacco Control Board, regulates smoking in specified areas and connected purposes.

The purpose of this Act is to: a) protect the health of the population against the many debilitating and fatal diseases caused by tobacco; b) limit the population's access to tobacco and protect it from inducements to use tobacco and the smoking which may result; c) make the population aware of the dangers of tobacco use and exposure to tobacco smoke.
