4. Engagement of community/stakeholders

Engagement of communities and other stakeholders from all sectors to define problems and solutions and prioritize actions through policy dialogue. Focusing on how communities and multi-sector stakeholders engaged in priority setting, governance, policy dialogue and health actions (planning, monitoring, service delivery).

KEY QUESTIONS TO SUPPORT PHC-ORIENTED APPROACH TO ADAPTING NATIONAL HEALTH PLAN:

• How will the development of community participation process and structures be facilitated and supported?
• What partnerships for  engagement of communities and other stakeholders (sectors, private sector, civil society, community based organisations) will be established to support community participation in needs assessment, planning and monitoring and service delivery?
• What community level  processes are in place to determine and select stakeholders  for engagement in governance, planning, priority setting, implementation and monitoring (including accountability mechanisms)?
