Articulation of the guiding principles and management arrangements that will be observed by the Government and Development partners to improve the contribution of development assistance. These guiding principles provide a set of values that inform decision-making, actions, and the overall approach to addressing health challenges.
KEY QUESTIONS TO SUPPORT PHC-ORIENTED HEALTH COMPACTS:
• How are development partners working together, with WHO and MoH, to ensure complementarity of all donor support to advance PHC orientation of health systems; e.g. on services integration & public health; better community engagement; strengthened governance, multi sector collaborations?
• What partnerships in engaging communities and other stakeholders (private sector, civil society, community based organisations) will be established to support community participation in needs assessment, planning and monitoring and service delivery?
• What intersectoral coordination systems and policy dialogue are required to align and mobilise support for health workforce education, skills, employment and remuneration?
