According to the WHO Results Report – Programme Budget 2018-2019, the health systems category was 105% funded and implemented 95% of its approved budget. The high level of financing was partially attributable to the Universal Health Coverage Partnership, mainly in the national health policies, strategies and plans programme area.

Overall, the levels of funding and expenditure reflect a strong and expanding global commitment to strengthening health systems and services.

Thanks to the WHO Results Report, for the first time the results of WHO’s work worldwide are being presented in an accessible, understandable and dynamic format.
