Following the successful first and second meetings of the multi-donor coordination committee for UHC, respectively held on 9 May and 11 September 2018, WHO and partners organize the third meeting of the committee on 20 February 2019, 14:00-17:00 (CET) in Geneva, Switzerland. Administrated by the WHO Joint Working Team (JWT) for UHC, this meeting serves as a crucial opportunity to align and harmonize multiple funding streams, derived from the European Union (EU), Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Irish Aid, Japan and France to strengthen health systems in WHO Member States toward the attainment of UHC. The tentative agenda includes information sharing of the current WHO efforts and achievements towards UHC in selected countries, announcements on the new EU and Luxembourg financial supports in the period of 2019-2021, discussions around the preliminary results of the first round of the live monitoring sessions, and further inputs from the WHO regional offices.
