Overcoming procurement and supply chain challenges presents a valuable opportunity to promote collaboration and leverage the unique capabilities of all sectors and stakeholders to ensure that no person living with noncommunicable disease (NCD) goes without treatment and care. How are countries and development partners addressing procurement and supply chain challenges with health systems strengthening, through a people-centered primary healthcare approach? How can this lead us closer towards the achievement of Universal Health Coverage?

Join us for this NCD Hard Talk as key note speakers and panelists from across government, academia, development partners and donor agencies share their experiences and advice on key topics:

- Challenges and progress in health systems strengthening for improved procurement and supply chain mechanisms and how this can be leveraged for NCDs towards improving access to treatment and care.

- Potential areas of collaboration between WHO, donors, and partners on how they can support countries in strengthening procurement and supply chain systems and moving the overall health systems agenda forward, with NCDs as a tracer indicator.

- Lessons learned and opportunities to improve the supply chain management in lower and middle-income countries (LMICs) for essential medicines and health products.
