In agreement with the Ministry of Health in Guinea, a joint WHO mission will take place in Conakry from 21 September until 10 October 2015. The objectives of the mission are to help the Ministry of Health capitalize on the lessons learnt from the Ebola crisis to strengthen the Guinean health system in supporting the review of the operational health plans at regional and district levels. The mission will first review the “plan de relance” (recovery plan) in light of the commitments and pledges made by the international community in New York in July 2015, and then participate in a workshop in Kindja to work with district and regional management teams to improve the operational plans for implementation from 2016.
