Technical assistance and capacity building mission in Praia, Cabo Verde.

Hosted our bi-annual workshop on tobacco taxation, with participants from the Ministries of Finance and Health of six different countries: Jamaica, Indonesia, Nigeria, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Togo. Representatives from think-tanks based in Sri Lanka, Ghana, and the UK also attended the event. Participated in the stakeholder consultation process regarding the draft tobacco control bill in Sierra Leone.

Hosted our bi-annual workshop on tobacco taxation, with fourteen participants from the Ministries of Finance and Health of six different countries (Ethiopia, Georgia, Myanmar, Samoa Sierra Leone and South Africa) attending.

Attended a workshop titled "Smoking - medical, social aspects and legislative changes" in Prague, Czech Republic. Dr Hana Ross of the Knowledge Hub served as Keynote Speaker at the event, presenting the topic of "Tobacco tax and Economic Prosperity".
