This Order establishes the organization and operation of the regional health system.

Constitution

This Decree establishes the special status of civil servants of the of the health corps classified in the following areas of specialization: medical-sanitary; medical sanitary engineering and public hygiene; biology. The Ordinance creates a national public scientific and technological establishment called the "Institut national de Santé Publique" (National Institute of Public Health). The mission of the Institut National de Santé Publique is to set up a health monitoring and epidemiological surveillance system, and to promote research into health policies and systems.
