The objective of the law is to establish an institutional framework for regulating the pharmaceutical sector to ensure market approval and use of pharmaceutical products that are accessible, safe, efficient, and of appropriate quality (art.2). It notably establishes the Authority for pharmaceutical regulation (Autorité Ivoirienne de Regulation Pharmaceutique - AIRP) and addresses its mandates (chapter 1).

The objective of this decree is to define the modalities and procedures for concluding, suspending and terminating agreements governing relations between the Health Insurance Fund (IPS-CNAM) and healthcare providers.

This decree, taken in application of the provisions of Ordinance No. 01/95 of January 14, 1995, on the orientation of health policy in the Gabonese Republic, of Law No. 4/63 of January 11, 1963, relating to the practice of private medicine in the Gabonese Republic, of Decree No. 213/PR-MSPP-CAB of July 8, 1966 on the regulation of the practice of the professions of doctor, dental surgeon and midwife in the Gabonese Republic, sets the conditions for issuing authorizations relating to the practice of medical and paramedical professions in the Gabonese Republic. This order, taken in application of the provisions of Decree No. 213/PR-MSPP-CAB of July 8, 1966 on the regulation of the practice of the professions of doctor, dental surgeon and midwife in the Gabonese Republic and Orders No. 0106/MSPS and 0107/MSPS of March 16, 2015, determines the amounts and terms of payment of fees relating to the issue of authorization to practice medicine, to open and operate a private health structure in the Gabonese Republic. This decree, taken in application of the provisions of Law No. 020/2005 of January 3, 2006, establishes the creation and attributions of the Monitoring/Evaluation Committee for the issuance and implementation of authorizations for the exercise, opening and operation of private health structures in the Gabonese Republic. The Law establishes a mandatory system of insurance for health for the residents in Cote d'Ivoire named universal sickness cover ("couverture maladie universelle")

This decree was adopted to implement the Law 2014-131 (universal health insurance) to establish the Social Security Institution ("institution de Prévoyance sociale").

The objective of the law is to govern personal data protection.

This decree, taken in application of the provisions of Law No. 020/2005 of January 3, 2006 and of Article 95 of Ordinance No. 1/95 of January 14, 1995, sets out the attributions and organization of regional hospital centers.

This decree, taken in application of the provisions of Law No 20/2005 of January 3, 2006, provides for the reorganization of the National Pharmaceutical Office, abbreviated to OPN.
