The Constitution of Gabon was adopted in 1991 and promulgated by Law No 3/91 on 26 of March 1991. The Constitution was revised in 1994, 1995 1997, 2000, 2003, 2011, 2018 and 2021. This law, adopted in application of the provisions of Articles 1 and 47 of the Constitution, relates to the protection of personal data.

This law, taken in application of the provisions of article 47 of the Constitution, establishes the rules and principles applicable to medicines and veterinary products in the Gabonese Republic.
