This Decree sets the operation modalities for some health competencies transferred by the State to the regions.

It includes a wide range of medications selected based on their relevance to public health, evidence on efficacy and safety, and comparative cost-effectiveness, aimed at ensuring accessibility and affordability.

The Ghana AIDS Commission Act, 2016 is to establish the Ghana AIDS commission and the National HIV and AIDS Fund, to provide for the management of the Fund, to prevent and control the HIV and AIDS epidemic, to promote and protect the rights of persons living with HIV or AIDS and to provide for related purposes.
