Health Legislation

This Act establishes the framework for the management of social health insurance; provides for the establishment of the Social Health Authority; gives effect to Article 43(1)(a) of the Constitution; and for connected purposes.

This law determines the general conditions of asylum in the Republic of Chad in accordance with the Convention relating to the Status of Refugees of July 28, 1951 as amended by its New York Protocol of January 31 and the Convention of the Organization of the African Unity of September 10, 1969 governing aspects specific to refugee problems in Africa.

This Act facilitates the promotion, co-ordination and regulation of the progress of science, technology and innovation of the country; assigns priority to the development of science, technology and innovation; entrenches science, technology and innovation into the national production system.

This Act makes provisions for the establishment of the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority and for connected purposes.

This Act consolidates and amends the law to make provision for the registration of medical practitioners and dentists and for purposes connected therewith and incidental thereto.
