This Act provides for the training, registration and licensing of medical laboratory technicians and technologists, provides for the establishment, powers and functions of the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board, and for connected purposes.
The Constitution of Kenya is a supreme law of the Republic of Kenya. It was adopted in 2010 and replaced the previous Constitution of 1963. This Act establishes the framework for the management of social health insurance; provides for the establishment of the Social Health Authority; gives effect to Article 43(1)(a) of the Constitution; and for connected purposes.
This Act gives effect to Article 31(c) and (d) of the Constitution; establishes the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner; makes provision for the regulation of the processing of personal data; provides for the rights of data subjects and obligations of data controllers and processors; and for connected purposes.
