The law makes rules on HIV/AIDS Prevention, Treatment and Control.

This Act controls the production, manufacture, sale, labelling, advertising, promotion and sponsorship of tobacco products, provides for the Tobacco Control Board, regulates smoking in specified areas and connected purposes.

This law regulates reproductive health in the Central African Republic.

This Act provides measures for the prevention, management and control of HIV and AIDS, provides for the protection and promotion of public health and the appropriate treatment, counselling, support and care of persons infected or at risk of HIV and AIDS infection, and connected purposes.

The purpose of this law is to combat the spread of the disease caused by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) leading to the reduction and loss of the body's immune defenses, resulting in Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS); to protect people living with HIV/AIDS against all forms of discrimination or stigmatization; and to reaffirm their fundamental rights and freedoms in accordance with international human rights instruments.

The purpose of this Act is to: a) protect the health of the population against the many debilitating and fatal diseases caused by tobacco; b) limit the population's access to tobacco and protect it from inducements to use tobacco and the smoking which may result; c) make the population aware of the dangers of tobacco use and exposure to tobacco smoke.

This law governs reproductive health in Niger. It sets out the principles of reproductive health, and regulates reproductive health structures, care and services, among other aspects.

The law governs reproductive health in Burkina Faso. It includes reproductive health care and services. It establishes rights and duties, as well as penal provisions.

The purpose of this Law is to create a legal framework that allows for the implementation of the actions and mechanisms necessary for the education, prevention, treatment, epidemiological surveillance, research, care and monitoring of sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS, as well as to guarantee respect, protection and defence of human rights, and to eliminate the stigmatization and discrimination of people infected with HIV/AIDS. This Law contains provisions regulating reproductive health.

This Proclamation is to protect the present and future generations from the devastating health, social, environmental and economic consequences of tobacco consumption and exposure to tobacco smoke by providing a legal framework for tobacco control measures, and reduce significantly tobacco use and its consequent harm.

This Law provides provisions on the definition, principles and rights in reproductive health, defines reproductive health service entities and workforce, and regulates contraception, voluntary termination of pregnancy, rights of people suffering from STDs/AIDS and penal provisions.

The objective of this law is to define reproductive health and related entitlements.

The Act makes provisions for promotion, control and regulation of traditional and alternative medicines practice, establishes the Traditional and Alternative Health Practice Council and provides for related matters.

This Act provides a legal framework for the care, treatment, and protection of individuals with mental health disorders, establishes guidelines for the admission, detention, and rights of patients in mental health facilities, etc.

This Act regulates the practice of traditional medicine in Mauritius; establishes the Traditional Medicine Board; defines the rules for registration as practitioners of traditional medicine, etc.

This Act establishes the Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council and provides for its structure, functions and powers. It further provides for reproductive health and family planning services in Zimbabwe and the promotion and implementation of population and development primary health care and other community-based development programmes relating to family health and for the integration and co-ordination of other relevant activities in Government departments, Nongovernmental organizations and the Private sector.

The law states that all health measures of a prophylactic nature are free of charge. Every citizen has the right to free medical care when they are hospitalized. All complementary diagnostic tests are free of charge both in inpatient and outpatient settings. 

This Act establishes the Edgar Laurent Tuberculosis Foundation in Mauritius to combat tuberculosis through awareness, prevention, and treatment programs.
