The objective of this law is to provide the rules relating to public hygiene and sanitation in rural and urban areas.

The law determines the essential rules relating to public health and hygiene in the Republic of Niger. The law contains articles referring to the fundamental principles of health in Niger, such as the functioning of the national health system, or health information; as well as the fundamental principles of hygiene, such as urban health and food safety.

This decree determines the conditions for the creation, approval, operation and control of reproductive health structures in application of the provisions of Article 12 paragraph 3 of Law No. 2003-04 of March 3, 2003 relating to the sexual and reproductive health.

This Law provides amendments to the provisions of Articles 17, 17-1, 17-2, 17-3, 17-4, 17-5, 17-6, 17-7, 19-1 of the Law No 2003-04 of 03 March 2003 relating to sexual health and reproduction.

Children's Protection and Welfare Act 2011

This act has the aim to consolidate and reform the laws relating to the protection and welfare of children and to provide for incidental matters. The Act covers aspects such as the rights of a child and the responsibilities of its parents; the child in need of care and protection; the offences to health and welfare of children; the conditions to take a child into care and for adoption; trafficking of children; child rehabilitation and conflict with criminal law; police powers and duties regarding children and legislation regarding minor’s criminal law.

This Law defines the rules of public health and hygiene in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, in particular on public spaces, homes, food and non-food products, water, commercial facilities and industries, educational and health establishments, public buildings, and the natural environment. Its main objective is to preserve and promote public health.

The decree covers the powers, organization and operation of the Public Hygiene Police.

The law governs reproductive health in Burkina Faso. It includes reproductive health care and services. It establishes rights and duties, as well as penal provisions.

Children's Act

This Act sets out the rights and responsibilities of children, consolidates the laws relating to children, provides for the care, protection and maintenance of children, establishes a Children’s Court, provides for a criminal justice system for children and other connected purposes.

This Law contains provisions regulating reproductive health.
