The purpose of the law is to define the rules and mechanisms for combating cybercrime and creating a favorable, conducive and secure environment in cyberspace, and also to enable the Republic of Guinea to comply with its community and international commitments in terms of cyber-security.

This Law establishes a framework to guarantee and protect the personal data of individuals.

This decree, taken in application of the provisions of Ordinance No. 01/95 of January 14, 1995, on the orientation of health policy in the Gabonese Republic and Ordinance No. 10/2011 of August 11, 2011, on the organization of the pharmaceutical sector in the Gabonese Republic, sets the conditions for opening and operating a private health structure in the Gabonese Republic. This decree is located on page 6 of the file.

This decree, taken in application of the provisions of Ordinance No. 01/95 of January 14, 1995, on the orientation of health policy in the Gabonese Republic, of Law No. 4/63 of January 11, 1963, relating to the practice of private medicine in the Gabonese Republic, of Decree No. 213/PR-MSPP-CAB of July 8, 1966 on the regulation of the practice of the professions of doctor, dental surgeon and midwife in the Gabonese Republic, sets the conditions for issuing authorizations relating to the practice of medical and paramedical professions in the Gabonese Republic. This order, taken in application of the provisions of Decree No. 213/PR-MSPP-CAB of July 8, 1966 on the regulation of the practice of the professions of doctor, dental surgeon and midwife in the Gabonese Republic and Orders No. 0106/MSPS and 0107/MSPS of March 16, 2015, determines the amounts and terms of payment of fees relating to the issue of authorization to practice medicine, to open and operate a private health structure in the Gabonese Republic. The order is located on page 12 of the file.

This decree, taken in application of the provisions of Law No. 020/2005 of January 3, 2006, establishes the creation and attributions of the Monitoring/Evaluation Committee for the issuance and implementation of authorizations for the exercise, opening and operation of private health structures in the Gabonese Republic. The decree is located on page 13 of the file.

The purpose of this law is to protect the rights of individuals in the processing of personal data.

The objective of the law is to govern personal data protection.

Protection of personal information Act No 4 of 2013

The Act promotes the protection of personal information processed by public and private bodies; introduces certain conditions so as to establish minimum requirements for the processing of personal information; provides for the establishment of an Information Regulator to exercise certain powers and to perform certain duties and functions in terms of this Act and the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000; provides for the issuing of codes of conduct; provides for the rights of persons regarding unsolicited electronic communications and automated decision making; etc.

Data Protection Act, 2012 Act 843

The Data Protection Act of 2012 establishes a Data Protection Commission, to protect the privacy of the individual and personal data by regulating the processing of personal information, to provide the process to obtain, hold, use or disclose personal information and for related matters.

Public Private Partnership Act

This Act provides for partnerships between the public sector and private sector for the supply of infrastructure and delivery of services as means of contributing towards sustaining economic growth, social development and infrastructure development; provides for the development and implementation of public-private partnership arrangements in Malawi for the delivery of infrastructure and services; provides for the establishment of the Public Private Partnership Commission; provides for private sector participation in state-owned enterprises, commercial entities and commercial assets, and provides for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

The purpose of the law is to establish the legal rules applicable to the processing of personal data with the aim of guaranteeing respect for public freedoms and the fundamental rights and guarantees of natural persons.

Data Protection Act 2011 (Act No 5 of 2012)

The Act establishes the Data Protection Commission, provide for principles for regulation of processing of personal information in order to protect and reconcile the fundamental and competing values of personal information privacy under this Act and sector-specific legislation and other related matters.

This decree regulates the conditions for the creation and opening of all private health establishments offering reproductive health care and services.

Information and Communications Act

The Act provides for the re-structuring, development, and regulation of the information and communication sectors in The Gambia and for matters connected therewith.

The law regulates the legal framework for the exercise of private medicine.   

This decree regulates the operation of private pharmacies, namely the requirements to be met by the premises of pharmacies and medicine sales points and their minimum areas, the necessary equipment, as well as the rules governing their activity and organization and the respective technical staff.

Insurance Act

This Act regulates the private insurance industry by setting out the legal framework for the licensing, operation, and supervision of insurance companies, ensuring solvency, etc.

Statistics Act

This Act provides for a sustainable, effective and efficient national statistical system for The Gambia for the collection, production and dissemination of integrated, relevant, reliable, timely statistical information, establishes The Gambia Bureau of Statistics as a supervisory authority for the national statistical system.

Data Protection Act

This Act establishes the framework for regulation of data protection and establishes the Data Protection Office and its mandate, etc.
