This decree regulates the operation of private pharmacies, namely the requirements to be met by the premises of pharmacies and medicine sales points and their minimum areas, the necessary equipment, as well as the rules governing their activity and organization and the respective technical staff.

This decree, taken in application of the provisions of article 109 of Ordinance No. 01/95/PR/MSP of January 14, 1995, sets out the procedures for the care of patients in public health facilities.

National Accreditation Board Act, 2007 Act 744

The National Accreditation Board Act of 2007 establishes the National Accreditation Board and provides for related purposes.

Insurance Act

This Act regulates the private insurance industry by setting out the legal framework for the licensing, operation, and supervision of insurance companies, ensuring solvency, etc.

The resolution approves the Charter of Patients' Rights and Duties.

This Law protects disabled persons in general.

Royal Victoria teaching hospital Act

The Act provides for the establishment of the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital and its Management Board, and for connected matters.

Persons with Disability Act, 2006 Act 715

The Persons with Disability Act, 2006 is an act to provide for persons with disability, to establish a National Council on Persons with Disability and to provide for related matters.

These guidelines provide the required standards on the establishment, registration, management and supervision of early childhood development (ECD) services. These are to ensure the effective implementation of ECD programmes.

The decree sets out the application of decree no. 205-316/PRN/MSP/LCE of November 11, 2005, granting women free caesarean section services provided by public health establishments.

These Guidelines provide comprehensive protocols for healthcare workers in South Sudan, outlining evidence-based practices for preventing and treating common diseases and conditions at primary and secondary care levels.

The decree establishes the principles and rules governing central hospitals.

Children's Act

This Act sets out the rights and responsibilities of children, consolidates the laws relating to children, provides for the care, protection and maintenance of children, establishes a Children’s Court, provides for a criminal justice system for children and other connected purposes.

This decree grants women free access to caesarean section services provided by public health establishments.

This law sets out the foundations of the National Health Service, including the definition of health actions and services, on a permanent or occasional basis, by natural or legal persons governed by public or private law, with a view to promoting and protecting health, preventing, treating and rehabilitating illness.

Consumer Protection Act

This Act protects the rights of consumers, addresses the interests and needs of consumers, establishes a Consumer Protection Council, provides an effective redress mechanism for consumer claims and provides for other matters incidental thereto or connected therewith.

The Diploma approves the general regulation of hospitals in Mozambique. The regulation applies to all hospitals in the National Health Service and to those that are managed by the private non-profit sector.

Employment and Labour Relations Act

This Act makes provisions for core labour rights, establishes basic employment standards, provides a framework for collective bargaining, provides for the prevention and settlement of disputes, and provides for related matters.
