The purpose of this ordinance is to determine the rates and fees for regulatory services offered on drugs and other health products by the drug regulatory authority for Burundi (ABREMA).

This law was published in the Official Journal on 10 May 2022. It provides measures to fight violence against women.

This decree sets protective measures for pregnant women at their workplace.

The order of 11 Joumada El Oula 1442 corresponding to 26 December 2020 lays down the procedure for setting the prices of medicinal products by the intersectoral economic committee for medicinal products. These guidelines provide direction to public and private institutions on how to secure a conducive environment for supporting female employees to combine work and breastfeeding. They complement other related materials in the health and nutrition practice.

This Act provides for the establishment and constitution of a professional Council for the medical and dental professions; determines the powers, duties and functions of such Council; regulates the registration of medical practitioners and of dentists, and of persons practising certain professions allied to the medical profession or to the dental profession; specifies the education, training and qualifications of persons practising such professions; prohibits the practising of any such profession without being registered; and provides for matters incidental thereto.

This Ordinance establishes national orders of doctors, pharmacists, dental surgeons and midwives, that are compulsorily grouping all practitioners authorized to practice their profession.
