The law created the Order of Midwives (the Order of Midwives), which is responsible for organizing and representing individuals and legal entities practicing the profession of midwifery in Mali.

The resolution approves the Organic Statute of the Ministry of Health. It defines aspects as it competencies, functions, and the functions of it organs among other aspects.

This Order creates and sets the rules for the organization and operation of the Health Economics Unit under the Ministry of Health and Social Action of Senegal.

The decree governs the organization of the Ministry of Health.

The short title of this Act is the Health Ministry Act. This Act amends the 1972 Act establishing the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare to create and establish the Ministry of Health.

The Law establishes the Order of Nurses of Mozambique and approves its Statute. The Order of Nurses of Mozambique is a legal person governed by public law, representing nurses, and carrying out services in the public interest. Registration and recognition by the Order of Nurses are mandatory conditions for the exercise of nursing activity in Mozambique.

This Decree contains the draft law relating to the practice of the profession of midwife in Senegal and establishing the order of midwives and obstetricians to be presented before the National Assembly of Senegal.

This law makes the second amendment to the Statute of the Order of Nurses, approved by Decree-Law No. 104/98, of April 21, amended by Law No. 111/2009, of September 16, in order to adapt it to Law No. 2/2013, of January 10, which establishes the legal regime for the creation, organization and operation of professional public associations.

The executive Decree No 13-155 of 4 Joumada Ethania 1434 amends the Executive Decree No 96-68 of 7 Ramadhan 1416 corresponding to 27 January 1996 on the creation, missions, organization and operation of the Inspectorate-General of the Ministry of Health and Population. This decree was published in the Official Journal of 25 April 2013 (page 27).

This decree governs the organisation of the Ministry of Public Health and addresses among other things, the missions of the ministry (art. 1) and its structure (general structure is fleshed out under article 2).

The Decree N°11-122 addresses the special status of civil servants belonging to the corps of public health midwives. It was published in the Official Journal of 20 March 2011 (pages 36 - 40)

The decree N°11-380 provides for the organization of the central administration of the ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform. The text of the decree has been published in the official journal of 23 November 2011 (pages 5-6).

The Order establishes the professional Code of conduct for nurses and midwives in Rwanda. This Order concerns nurses and midwives registered with the National Council of Nurses and Midwives.

This document sets out the minimum standards for courses and the curricula for the Bachelor of Nursing Science Program in Uganda.

The Nursing and Midwifery Act

This Act makes provisions for the protection, promotion and preservation of public health, safety and welfare through regulation and control of nursing and midwifery education and practice.

This Law establishes the National Council of Nurses and Midwives and determines its organisation, functioning and competence.

Nursing Act

This Act provides for the establishment and constitution of a professional Council for the nursing and midwifery or accoucheury professions; determines the powers, duties and functions of such Council; regulates the registration and enrolment of the members of such professions; specifies the education, training and qualifications of persons practising such professions; prohibits the practising of any such profession without being registered; and provides for matters incidental thereto.

Nursing and Midwifery (registration, etc.) Act

This Act establishes the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria for the registration of nurses and midwives and State Nursing and Midwifery Committees, and provides for the discipline of nurses and midwives and other ancillary matters.

The Nursing Council Act 2003

This Act repeals and replaces the Nursing Council Act of 1992 to make further and better provisions for the establishment, composition and functioning of a Nursing Council, to establish a disciplinary Tribunal and to better regulate and control the nursing and midwifery professions.

Nurses and Midwives Act 1997 (Act No 12 of 1998)

The Act establishes the Lesotho Nursing Council, and makes provisions with respect to the education and training, registration, the practice of nursing and midwifery, regulation of professional conduct of nurses and midwives and for related matters.
