This decree defines the terms and conditions for implementing the mandatory health insurance.

This regulation is issued to implement the Food and Medicine Administration Proclamation No.1112/2019. It provides the organization, powers and duties of the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority.

The decree creates the National Institute for Medical Assistance ("Institut National d'Assistance Médicale"), which is placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Health and the financial supervision of the Ministry of Finance. The Institute's main mission is to implement policies, strategies and reforms relating to the financing and delegated management of free health care for Niger's vulnerable populations by the State and local authorities.

The Order adopts the statutes of the National Institute for Medical Assistance ("Institut National d'Assistance Médicale"), which has as its main mission the implementation of policies, strategies and reforms relating to the financing and delegated management of free healthcare by the State and local authorities for the benefit of vulnerable populations in Niger.

This decree sets out the terms and conditions for access to health care services covered by the universal health insurance.

This decree sets the base, rates, amounts, and collection procedures for social security contributions and other contributions due in respect to universal health insurance.

This decree confers the management of Universal Health Insurance to the National Health Insurance Institute and the National Social Security Fund.

The decree sets out the missions, composition, organization, and operation of the "comité de régulation de l'assurance maladie universelle" (universal health insurance regulatory committee). It was published in the Official Journal on 7 October 2022 (see pages 137 to 140).

It is under the ministry of health (technical supervision) and the Ministry of Finances (financial suppervision). The decree further addresses the mandate, structure and ressources of the Institute.

The decree creates a National Technical Committee responsible for the administration of the District Health Information System in Niger. Its mission is to ensure the administration and updating of the platform; to identify and deal with users' technical grievances and concerns, and to ensure the system's security, maintenance and capacity building.

This Order determines contributions to the community-based health insurance scheme, amounts of their contributions and modalities for their payment.

This order, which provides for the organization and governance of health structures in the Gabonese Republic, supplements order No 1/95 of January 14, 1995, providing guidance for health policy in the Gabonese Republic.

The objective of this decree is to define the requirements and modalities for affiliation to and registration with the general basic universal health insurance scheme (i.e. population groups covered).

This decree establishes the terms of collection of contributions from workers in the public, parapublic and private sectors affiliated to the compulsory health insurance and social security scheme.
