This diploma establishes the technical description of the different institutions of the National Health Service across the four levels of care, the classification and their specific functions. 

This Law repeals and replaces the 5th paragraph of the first paragraph and the 2nd paragraph of Article 20 of Law No 61-33 of 15 June 1961 relating to the general status of civil servants.

Health professions Act

This Act regulates and controls the practice of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and allied health professions, and provides for matters connected and associated therewith.

The Pharmacy and Drugs Act

This Act regulates the profession of pharmacy; controls the supply, manufacture, storage and transportation of drugs, including nutritional agents and cosmetics; and provides for other matters related thereto.

Código deontologico e de ética médica

The document approved the Medical Deontology and Ethic Code of Angola. It is a legal instrument that establishes principles and rules to be observed by all doctors in the exercise of their profession. The provisions of the Code apply to all doctors registered with the Angolan Medical Association.

The purpose of the law is the organization of pharmacy, whether for human or veterinary use.

Health Professions Act

This Act covers a broad array of issues pertaining to health and care profession and health facilities. It notably establishes a Health Professions Authority of Zimbabwe, a Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe, an Allied Health Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe, a Natural Therapists Council of Zimbabwe, a Nurses Council of Zimbabwe, a Pharmacists Council of Zimbabwe, a Medical Laboratory and Clinical Scientists Council of Zimbabwe, an Environmental Health Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe and a Medical Rehabilitation Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe. It further provides for the composition and functions of the Authority and those councils, for the registration of persons in health professions and the issue of practising certificates to registered persons; the exercise of disciplinary powers in relation to registered persons and for the registration and control of health institutions and the regulation of services provided.

This law provides the rules to govern the profession of opticians.

This Act provides for the training, registration and licensing of medical laboratory technicians and technologists, provides for the establishment, powers and functions of the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board, and for connected purposes.

The Medical Council Act 1999

This Act establishes the Medical Council of Mauritius which is responsible for the regulation and oversight of the medical profession in Mauritius, including the registration, licensing, and professional conduct of medical practitioners.

Dental Council Act

This Act regulates the practice of the profession of dental surgeon and dental specialist, and establishes the Dental Council of Mauritius.

The objective of Decree No. 21/99 is to establish the conditions, norms, and procedures for the practice of the pharmaceutical profession in Mozambique, ensuring compliance with technical, ethical, moral, and deontological principles.

Law No 12/99 Relating to the Pharmaceutical Art

This Law regulates pharmaceutical practice in Rwanda.

The Children's Act, 1998 Act 560

The Children's Act of 1998 reforms and consolidates the law relating to children, provides for the rights of the child, maintenance and adoption, regulates child labour and apprenticeship, for ancillary matters concerning children generally and provides for related matters.

Nurses and Midwives Act 1997 (Act No 12 of 1998)

The Act establishes the Lesotho Nursing Council, and makes provisions with respect to the education and training, registration, the practice of nursing and midwifery, regulation of professional conduct of nurses and midwives and for related matters.

This Law regulates the establishment and practice of the art of health, namely the medical art, dentistry, the pharmaceutical art, nursing and paramedical art.

Refugees Act No 130 of 1998

This Act gives effect within the Republic of South Africa to the relevant international legal instruments, principles and standards relating to refugees; provides for the reception into South Africa of asylum seekers; regulates applications for and recognition of refugee status; provides for the rights and obligations flowing from such status; and provides for matters connected therewith.

Medical and Dental Practitioners Act

This Act consolidates the law relating to the medical and dental practice and provides for other connected purposes.

The Refugees Act

This Act makes provisions for the Enactment of the Refugees Act, National Eligibility Committee, Asylum seeker and Refugee administration and repeals the Refugee (Control) Act and provides for connected matters.

This law provides for the National Order of doctors and specifies its mandate and operating modes.
