Health Legislation

This law was published in the Official Journal on 10 May 2022. It provides measures to fight violence against women.

This decree sets protective measures for pregnant women at their workplace.

The Decree establishes free access to family planning care and services in Burkina Faso (art.1). These are provided in public health facilities by community health workers (art.2). Private facilities can choose to implement the same, but need to sign an agreement with the Ministry of Health to settle the conditions and modalities (art.3). Specific services covered are to be determined by a joint order from the Ministers responsible for Health and Finances (art.4). These measures are financed by the budget of the State and partners (art. 5) and will be realized progressively (art. 6).

This decree guarantees access to free delivery care in public health facilities.

These guidelines provide direction to public and private institutions on how to secure a conducive environment for supporting female employees to combine work and breastfeeding. They complement other related materials in the health and nutrition practice.

This law introduces free healthcare for pregnant women and children under 5 throughout Burkina Faso.

This law provides for the Labour Code, establishing the rules governing the relations between employers and (salaried) employees in the country.

This Labor Code governs professional relations between Workers and employers resulting from employment contracts concluded to be executed in the territory of the Central African Republic. This Act provides a framework for governing labor relations in Liberia by establishing the rules of the recruitment of labor, conditions of employment, administration, etc.
