This law determines which individuals have Central African nationality at birth as their nationality of origin. Central African nationality is acquired or lost after birth by the operation of the law or by a decision of the public authority taken under the conditions established by law.
The Constitution of the Central African Republic was adopted in 2016 and promulgated by Decree No 160218.
