Medicines and allied substances control Act
This Act is to establish a Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe and to confer functions on such Authority in relation to the registration of medicines; to provide for the Zimbabwe Regional Medicines Control Laboratory and for its functions; to provide for the appointment of a Director-General of the Authority and for the keeping of a Medicines Register; to provide for certain prohibitions, controls and restrictions relating to medicines and other substances; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.
Emergency Powers Act
This Act grants the President of Mauritius the power to adopt regulations regarding the movement of persons, acquisition of property by the government, search of persons or premises, etc., during time of public emergency.
The Statistics Act
The Statistics Act establishes a body corporate to be known as Statistics Botswana; requires that official statistics be produced by means of a process that is guided by the National Statistical System; and provides principles for the production and dissemination of official statistics and for matters incidental thereto.
General health regulations promulgated in terms of the Public Health Act
The General Health Regulations set out comprehensive guidelines and standards for public health and hygiene, including the control of communicable diseases, sanitation, food safety, and environmental health.
The Prisons Act
This Act consolidates and amends the Law relating to Prisons, and provides for the Organization, Discipline, Powers and Duties pf Prison Officers, and for matters incidental thereto and connected therewith.
Emergency Powers Act
This Act empowers the President of Botswana to make emergency regulations whenever an emergency proclamation is in force. It also specifies the matters which may be provided for in emergency regulations; provides the duration of emergency regulations, and provides for the matters incidental thereto or connected therewith.

This Act provides for the training, registration, enrollment and discipline of nurses and midwives of all categories and for other matters connected to the above.

The Gambia Nationality and Citizenship Act

The Act consolidates and makes better provision for the control of immigration into and residence in The Gambia.
Registration of births and deaths Act, 1965 Act 301
The Registration of Births and Deaths Act of 1956 provides for the registration of births, foetal deaths and deaths, and provides for burial grounds and for related matters.

This law establishes an organization for the general litigation of social security matters, to settle disputes arising from the application of social security legislation and regulations, which by their nature do not fall within the scope of any other litigation.
Medicines and Related Substances Act 101 of 1965
The Act provides for the registration and control of medicines and related substances for human and animal use, establishes the Medicines Control Council, and outlines its powers and responsibilities. It includes provisions for the licensing of manufacturers, distributors, and dispensers, as well as measures to ensure the availability of affordable medicines. The Act also addresses the regulation of medicine pricing, generic substitution, labeling, and procedures for appeals and re-evaluation of registered medicines.
The National Registration Act
The Act provides for the registration of persons; and provides for matters incidental thereto.
Labor Law
This Act provides a framework for governing labor relations in Liberia by establishing the rules of the recruitment of labor, conditions of employment, administration, etc.
Births, Marriages and Deaths Act
This Act consolidates the laws relating to the registration of births, marriages and deaths.

The Pharmacy and Poisons Act
