The Decree N°11-122 addresses the special status of civil servants belonging to the corps of public health midwives. It was published in the Official Journal of 20 March 2011 (pages 36 - 40)

The decree N°11-380 provides for the organization of the central administration of the ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform. The text of the decree has been published in the official journal of 23 November 2011 (pages 5-6).

The Order establishes the professional Code of conduct for nurses and midwives in Rwanda. This Order concerns nurses and midwives registered with the National Council of Nurses and Midwives.

This Law establishes the National Council of Nurses and Midwives and determines its organisation, functioning and competence.

The Law determines the registration of the population and issuance of the national identity card to Rwandan citizens.

This Law protects disabled persons in general.

The executive decree n° 06-339 of 2 Ramadhan 1427 corresponding to 25 September 2006 modifies the executive decree n° 94-187 of 26 Moharram 1415 corresponding to 6 July 1994 fixing the distribution of the rate of the social security contribution. This decree was published in the official journal of 27 September 2006 (see page 16).

This Executive Decree No 06-370 of 26 Ramadhan 1427 governs the creation, organization and operation of the national fund for the collection of social security contributions. It was published in the Official Journal on 28 October 2006 (pages 9-14).

The order N°67 sets the conditions of practice of the profession of retail pharmacist. The text of the order is provided as part of a compendium of pharmaceutical legislation (see pages 6 and 7).

This Decree determines the conditions for opening and operating of wholesale pharmaceutical stores in Rwanda.

Constitution

The Constitution of Rwanda was promulgated in 2003 and reviewed in 2015. The Constitution contains 177 articles addressing a large number of issues as the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms, fundamental principles of the state and institutional arrangements.

This Law establishes the Health Insurance Scheme for Government Employees in Rwanda. It also determines its functioning and beneficiaries.

Law No 12/99 Relating to the Pharmaceutical Art

This Law regulates pharmaceutical practice in Rwanda.

This Law regulates the establishment and practice of the art of health, namely the medical art, dentistry, the pharmaceutical art, nursing and paramedical art.

The decree N°96-68 addresses the creation, missions, organization and operation of the Inspectorate-General of the Ministry of Health and Population. The text of the decree is provided as part of a compendium of health-related legislation (see pages 22-.24).

Law No. 1970-86 Nationality Law

This law provides the conditions for the acquisition or loss of Algerian nationality.

This Ordinance provides for the Civil Code.

The Decree, published in the Official Journal of 20 June 1969 provides that some vaccinations may be made compulsory in case of (threat of) epidemic (pages 14-15).
