Constitution
The Constitution of Uganda was adopted in 1995. The Constitution of Uganda is a supreme law of the state that establishes the key values and principles of the organization of the state, establishes rights, freedoms and obligations, separates the powers within the state and establishes the key state bodies. The Constitution of Uganda consists of 287 articles that are grouped into 19 chapters.
Constitution
The Constitution of the Republic of Seychelles was promulgated by Act No 2 in 1992. The Constitution is the supreme law of the Republic of Seychelles that establishes the principles of the organization of the state, declares rights, freedoms and obligations, establishes key state organs and institutions, etc. The Constitution of Seychelles consists of 170 Articles that are grouped into 16 chapters that are supplemented by 7 schedules.
The National Drug Policy Authority Act
This Act establishes a national drug policy and a national drug authority to ensure the availability, at all times, of essential, efficacious and cost-effective drugs to the entire population of Uganda, as a means of providing satisfactory health care and safeguarding the appropriate use of drugs.
Nurses and Midwives Regulations
These Regulations establish the requirements for the registration of nurses, their training, conduct and related disciplinary measures.
Nurses and Midwives Act
This Act establishes the Seychelles Nurses and Midwives Council, makes provision for registration of nurses and midwives, for their training, qualification and disciplinary control; repeals the Midwives Act, and the Nurses' Registration Act; and provides for connected purposes.
The Pharmacy and Drugs Byelaws
These Byelaws establish regulations for the registration, practice, and management of pharmacies and the distribution of pharmaceutical products.
The Pharmacy and Drugs Act
This Act amends and consolidates the law relating to the control of the profession of pharmacy and trade in and use of drugs and poisons, and other purposes connected therewith.
The Nurses and Midwives Act
This Act provides for the training, registration, enrollment and discipline of nurses and midwives of all categories and for other matters connected to the above.
Public Health Act
This Act consolidates the law regarding the preservation of public health.
Hospitals and Dispensaries Act
This Act regulates the establishment, management, and operation of hospitals and dispensaries in the country.
Pharmacy Act
This Act regulates the practice of pharmacy in Seychelles, including the licensing, operation, and ethical conduct of pharmacists, as well as the sale and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
Civil Status Act
This Act establishes the framework for the registration of vital events and civil statuses such as births (including stillbirths and abandoned children), marriage, deaths, divorces, etc.
