The executive decree n° 06-339 of 2 Ramadhan 1427 corresponding to 25 September 2006 modifies the executive decree n° 94-187 of 26 Moharram 1415 corresponding to 6 July 1994 fixing the distribution of the rate of the social security contribution. This decree was published in the official journal of 27 September 2006 (see page 16).

This Executive Decree No 06-370 of 26 Ramadhan 1427 governs the creation, organization and operation of the national fund for the collection of social security contributions. It was published in the Official Journal on 28 October 2006 (pages 9-14).

The order N°67 sets the conditions of practice of the profession of retail pharmacist. The text of the order is provided as part of a compendium of pharmaceutical legislation (see pages 6 and 7).

The Pharmacy and Drugs Act

This Act regulates the profession of pharmacy; controls the supply, manufacture, storage and transportation of drugs, including nutritional agents and cosmetics; and provides for other matters related thereto.

The decree N°96-68 addresses the creation, missions, organization and operation of the Inspectorate-General of the Ministry of Health and Population. The text of the decree is provided as part of a compendium of health-related legislation (see pages 22-.24).

The Medical Practitioners and Dental Surgeons Decree

This Decree establishes the Medical and Dental Council, provides for the registration of medical practitioners and dental surgeons and for other related matters.

Constitution

The Constitution of Sierra Leone was promulgated in 1991 and was amended in 2008 and 2013. The Constitution of Sierra Leone is the supreme law of the state that regulates the division of powers within the country, sets out the key values and principles, defines the rights, freedoms and obligations of the people, etc. The Constitution of Sierra Leone consists of 192 articles that are grouped into 14 chapters which are supplemented by four schedules.

Law No. 1970-86 Nationality Law

This law provides the conditions for the acquisition or loss of Algerian nationality.

This Ordinance provides for the Civil Code.

The Decree, published in the Official Journal of 20 June 1969 provides that some vaccinations may be made compulsory in case of (threat of) epidemic (pages 14-15).

This decree established the national identity card.

Medical Practitioners, Dentists and Druggists Ordinance

This Ordinance provides for the registration of medical practitioners and dentists and for the registration and licensing of druggists.
