This law establishes the rules relating to medicines, other health products and pharmacy.

The law adopts the Code of Administrative Procedure. The Code establishes the principles and rules to be observed in the exercise of administrative activity, aimed at achieving the public interest, while respecting the subjective rights and legally protected interests of individuals and legal persons.

This Decree establishes and fixes the rules of organization and operation of the Senegalese Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (ARP)

The Public Health Act

This Act repeals and replaces the Public Health Act of 1960, provides for the promotion, protection and improvement of public health and well-being in Sierra Leone, provides for the protection of individuals and communities from public health risks, provides for the prevention and control of the spread of infectious diseases, provides for local government and community participation in protecting public health, provides for early detection and prompt response to diseases and public health threats and provides for other related matters.

The law reviewed the articles 14, 37, 100, 104, 107, 110, 112, 119, 120, 125, 131, 132, 135, 143, 144, 145, 162, 163, 169, 174, 176, 179, 180, 181, 184, 198, 199, 213, 214 and 242 of the Constitution of the Republic of Angola. 

The Decree approves the National List of Essential Medicines. 

Lei No 41/20 Dos Contratos Publicos

The Law establishes the Legal Framework for the Formation and Execution of Public Contracts.

The Decree approves the organic statute of the Ministry of Health whose mission is to define and implement the National Health Policy, promote the execution of the Executive's program on health and exercise the corresponding normative and monitoring functions, aiming for universal health coverage in the country.

This decree establishes the organization of the Ministry of Health and Social Action.

The Consumer Protection Act

This Act provides for the protection and promotion of the interests of consumers; provides for the establishment of the National Consumer Protection Commission and for other related matters.

This Law amends and supplements Articles 185 and 195 of Law No 2013-10 relating to the General Code of Local Authorities

This Order creates and sets the rules for the organization and operation of the Health Economics Unit under the Ministry of Health and Social Action of Senegal.

The National Medical Supplies Agency Act

This Act repeals and replaces the National Pharmaceutical Procurement Unit Act, 2012 to establish the National Medical Supplies Agency as a public service agency responsible for the procurement, warehousing and distribution of drugs and medical supplies in a transparent and cost-effective manner for and on behalf of all public institutions throughout Sierra Leone.

The document adopts the Code of Ethics which have the rights, duties and the incompatibilities of practicing the profession.

This Decree contains the draft law relating to the practice of the profession of midwife in Senegal and establishing the order of midwives and obstetricians to be presented before the National Assembly of Senegal.

This Decree appoints the members of the Commission responsible for the organization of the partial renewal of the bodies of the Order of Physicians.

The Constitutional Law No 2016-10 of April 5, 2016 amends the Constitution of Senegal.

This Law establishes a biometric identity card.

The National Civil Registration Act

This Act provides for the amendment and consolidation of the laws relating to the compulsory registration of citizens and non-citizens resident in Sierra Leone, provides for the issuance of identity cards, provides for the establishment of the National Civil Registration Authority responsible for the registration of births adoptions, deaths, marriages, divorces and nullities throughout Sierra Leone and provides for other related matters.

The Sierra Leone Basic Package of Essential Health Services provides a framework and guiding document for improving health service delivery in Sierra Leone. It represents a commitment from the Government of Sierra Leone to ensure that a basic level of essential health care service delivery is available to its people.
