The order mandates the creation of a medical, Dental and Pharmacy Council; and regulates the keeping and sale of poisons and other related matters.
Nurses and Midwives Act
This Act makes further and better provision for the registration, enrolment, control and training of nurses and midwives; provides for purposes relating to the practice of nursing and midwifery; establishes the General Nursing Council of Zambia; and provides for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing.
The Act provides for the registration of persons; and provides for matters incidental thereto.
Pharmacy and Poisons Act
This Act makes better provision for the control of the profession of pharmacy and the trade in drugs and poisons.
Public Health Act
This Act provides for the prevention and impression of diseases and generally regulates all matters connected with public health in Zambia.
