The law authorized the extension of the state of health emergency in 2021.

The law regulates the manufacture and registration of medicines, the approval of medical devices, and sets out rules for pharmacies and the practice of the profession of pharmacist.

The Law creates a professional order called the "Ordre national des sages- femmes/maïeuticiens de Guinée", which groups together all midwives/maïeuticians required to practice in Guinea.

The purpose of the law is to define the rules and mechanisms for combating cybercrime and creating a favorable, conducive and secure environment in cyberspace, and also to enable the Republic of Guinea to comply with its community and international commitments in terms of cyber-security.

The purpose of this Law is to create a legal framework that allows for the implementation of the actions and mechanisms necessary for the education, prevention, treatment, epidemiological surveillance, research, care and monitoring of sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS, as well as to guarantee respect, protection and defence of human rights, and to eliminate the stigmatization and discrimination of people infected with HIV/AIDS. The scope of application of this Law includes: medicines and health products, as well as the actions of natural and legal persons involved in the production, marketing, prescription and dispensing of pharmaceutical and health products within the national territory. The Code provides rules regarding different rears of public health as the prevention and control of communicable diseases; sanitation and housing; and food and water protection among other aspects.
