Health Legislation

This Act establishes the framework for the management of social health insurance; provides for the establishment of the Social Health Authority; gives effect to Article 43(1)(a) of the Constitution; and for connected purposes.

This Act provides for the training, registration, licensing, practice and standards of counsellors and psychologists and for connected purposes.

The objective of the law is to govern personal data protection.

This Act provides for the making, scrutiny, publication and operation of statutory instruments and for matters connected therewith.

This Act facilitates the promotion, co-ordination and regulation of the progress of science, technology and innovation of the country; assigns priority to the development of science, technology and innovation; entrenches science, technology and innovation into the national production system.

This Act makes provisions for the establishment of the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority and for connected purposes.

This Act consolidates and amends the law to make provision for the registration of medical practitioners and dentists and for purposes connected therewith and incidental thereto.

This Act controls the production, manufacture, sale, labelling, advertising, promotion and sponsorship of tobacco products, provides for the Tobacco Control Board, regulates smoking in specified areas and connected purposes.
