L/2021-003 Loi portant autorisation de prolongation de l' etat d'urgence sanitaire
The law authorized the extension of the state of health emergency in 2021.
Décret 2016/205 portant création, attributions, organisation et fonctionnement de l'agence nationale de sécurité sanitaire
The law creates a public administrative establishment, called the "Agence Nationale de Sécurité Sanitaire", under the supervision of the Ministry of Health. The mission of the Agence is to implement the strategic orientations of the Ministry of Health in the field of health safety.
Public health Act
The Public Health Act repeals, re-enacts, consolidates and amends the law relating to public health in Botswana.
Code de la Santé Publique
The Code provides rules regarding different rears of public health as the prevention and control of communicable diseases; sanitation and housing; and food and water protection among other aspects.
Emergency Powers Act
This Act empowers the President of Botswana to make emergency regulations whenever an emergency proclamation is in force. It also specifies the matters which may be provided for in emergency regulations; provides the duration of emergency regulations, and provides for the matters incidental thereto or connected therewith.
