The Health Act
This Act establishes a unified health system, coordinates the inter-relationship between the national government and county government health systems, provides for regulation of health care service and health care service providers, health products and health technologies and for connected purposes.
This Act gives effect to Article 227 of the Constitution; provides procedures for efficient public procurement and for assets disposal by public entities; and for connected purposes.
This Act facilitates the promotion, co-ordination and regulation of the progress of science, technology and innovation of the country; assigns priority to the development of science, technology and innovation; entrenches science, technology and innovation into the national production system.

This Act makes provisions for securing and maintaining health.
